This sapele closet island detail shows the some of the unique features of this closet. On the left are two pull out clothes baskets for laundry items. The drawers are all solid wood made with dovetails and 1/2" thick plywood bottoms. They run on Blum undermount drawer slides with a soft-close feature. The pull-out laundry baskets with cloth liners are from Häfele. In addition, we also provided two jewelry trays that fit into two of the island drawers. While the laundry baskets were not designed for drawer fronts, we were able to fabricate a system so that we could attach the sapele drawer fronts.
