This view of the study alcove shows the thick, solid sapele desktop. It is supported with an arched end panel with an arched raised panel on the outside end and a small bookcase on the inside end. Hidden from view is an arched middle leg that not only supports the top but defines the two separate work spaces of the desk. Each work space has its own pencil drawer.
