Beadboard Wainscot in a Main Line Home

This photo shows beadboard wainscot in a hallway and down a staircase.  This is simply some off the shelf beadboard panel that we painted in our shop and then installed over the existing walls. The wainscot is topped with chair rail molding that matches the door casing. This section of wainscot leads to the study alcove and desk area around the corner. We installed this throughout much of the house.  This relatively simple element completely altered the look and feel of the home.
