This teak island provides space for a range and also helps delineate the cooking space from the dining space in this kitchen in Center City Philadelphia. The counter that extends to the floor at each end of the island is a detail that is more and more common in modern-style kitchens. On the left side of the island are a single drawer and a pull out trash can from Häfele. On the right side are a set of three drawers. All of the drawers in this kitchen are Tandembox by Blum Hardware in their gray finish.
